The Light of Eltherion

The design team at Games Workshop has done a masterful job of animating this ghostly suit of armour. The armour is hollow inside with sections of it seeming to float in air. His cloak billows with breaths of other worldly winds and the runes and scrollwork of his swords and armour will leave you finding new details every time you look at this model. To bring this amazing model to life Tabletop Heaven has partnered with the commission painting company Golden Globe Gaming to create a promotion that you won’t want to miss. Amir over at Golden Globe Gaming has painted a masterpiece that is unlike any other The Light of Eltharion you will find. He has done the armour in a baroque gold that speaks of ancient power. Eltharion’s cloak is a weathered leather accented with ice blue gems which echo the glowing magic of the paired swords. The scenic base has Eltharion standing on the ruins of the Old World itself as he stands ready to defend the Lumineth Aelves in the Mortal Realms.

Eltherion's Weathered Cloak

The Lumineth Realm Lords are the newest faction for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. The Lumineth are the reincarnation of the High Elves from the Warhammer Old World. It is a completely redesigned army with an incredible aesthetic that has its roots in the High Elves of old and shows off the intricate detail and flair we’ve come to love about the Warhammer Age of Sigmar range of models. The Light of Eltharion model is a particularly ingenious bit of design that brings the lore of Eltharion to life. Some of you may recall how the elven lord Eltharion the Grim fell in battle to Arkhan the Black in the End Times of the Old World. Now in the Mortal Realms of the Age of Sigmar, the Aelvish sorcerer Teclis forged a suit of armour with paired blades and bound the soul of Eltharion to the armour that he may defend the Aelves of the Lumineth Realm Lords.

That’s it for the first Tabletop Heaven Blog post. Stay tuned for future blog posts where we will be showing off more amazing models, discussing games we love, kickstarters, product news and of course, more FREE stuff!
